Synopsis
En kvinna bland män är en underhållande och tankeväckande film om den unga Ruth Bader Ginsburg, en småbarnsmamma och advokat som kämpar i en värld helt dominerad av män. Filmen handlar om hennes tidiga kamp för kvinnors lika rätt i samhället. När Ruth (Felicity Jones) tillsammans med sin man Marty (Armie Hammer) tar sig an ett banbrytande fall , vet hon att det för alltid kommer att förändra hur domstolarna och USA ser på könsdiskriminering. Filmen handlar också om kärleken mellan Ruth och Marty, ett livslångt äktenskap och partnerskap som lyckades såväl på det personliga som professionella planet. En kvinna bland män är inspirerad av den sanna historien om Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Som 2018 firade 25-års jubileum som Domare i Högsta Domstolen.
